We were pleasantly surprised to find out there were two opening acts, although we didn't know who was opening up until we arrived. The first act, Matt Nathanson, is much more than just "Come On Get High". He has a great repertoire of upbeat songs that are a blast to experience live. He really impressed us with his humor, energy, and interaction with the crowd, walking around the entire venue. The Fray, a fantastic musical group, exceeded our expectations. Their drummer hails from this area, and they are known for more than just "How to Save a Life". Their music strikes a perfect balance between being lively and emotional, with a dreamy quality that captivates listeners. Their lead singer even ventured into the audience during the performance. The transition music between sets was fantastic, with the audience really getting into House of Pain's "Jump" before Big Jay Oakerson's intro music played, resembling the sound of an approaching train. Big Jay Oakerson and the band delivered an outstanding show, with the guitarist also being a local talent. Pat showcased his incredible vocal talent, and there were many fun moments, including a duet of "Bruises" with country artist Ashley Monroe and a memorable rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On".
